3 Books That Will Inspire You to Set Big Goals

We’ve talked a lot about BHAGs in the past few weeks! Maybe you feel inspired to do some reading on goal setting, and the research behind it. If you’re the type who really likes to dig in to a subject and read all about it, we have some great book recommendations for you! Here are three books that will you set big goals—these are great for setting all kinds of life goals.

Good to Great by Jim Collins

The BHAG is a big component of what takes companies from good to great, according to the research of Jim Collins and his team of experts. This is the book where I first learned about the BHAG concept, and I still consider it a valuable resource for building my business. It’s a classic that I absolutely recommend.

The Artists Way by Julia Cameron

I give this book credit for a lot of my success. The exercises and activities, if implemented, will help you with all of your creative blocks and help you grow exponentially.

If you’re more artistic, then a book like this can definitely be more helpful than some of the more logic-heavy resources out there! Or if you’re just feeling stuck in general, try exercising your creative side—it’s probably not as hidden as you think.

Tribe of Mentors by Tim Ferriss

My go-to for inspiration. Tim Ferriss asked hundreds of very successful people the same eight questions and compiled the response into this book. Open up any page in the book and you will find a plethora of secret ingredients to motivate and help you with your BHAG.

Maybe you don’t have a real-life mentor that is easily available—well, consider this book as your mentor stand-in!

There you have it! These are three books we recommend without hesitation. They’re all great resources for setting big goals and creating a great plan for your business.
